Sea Vixen
Airfix 1/48th kit is the usual high standard of recent Airfix - buils really well. This model was built for Jonathon Whaley who flew the Sea Vixen featured in the Royal Navy in the 1960s. Beautiful plane - and it was fascinating to hear Jonathon talk about how it compared with the Phantom he flew later, and his 'Miss Demeanor' Hunter.
I think it might be a Thunderbirds thing - but I have a real soft spot for twin boom aircraft - and the Sea vixen is right up there at the top!
