I win yet another Expert Challenge in my playthrough of Monster Train. I tend to enjoy wordplay used for naming things in video games. I haven't notice a lot in Monster Train, but Molting Imp is a prime example. The image of the minion looks like a lava imp, which could be called "Molten Imp" and it is frequently how I mistaken read the card's name. "Molting" is clearly meant to be a homophone of "Molten", but the word they actually use also sort of explains the imp's ability. A molten creature who is molting would certainly cause damage to those nearby.
