05 Robdood's Satisfactory Overexplained Lets Play Beginner Guide Research Thing(TM)
An overexplained playthrough of the first few elevator phases while I research and conceptualise a guide I want to make!
In this episode, we:
Set up smart plating assembly for the phase 1 elevator objective
Went to get a well-protected hard drive crash site
Unlocked some more MAM technology incl. Black Powder, Power Slugs, Fabric, Parachute
Set up Modular Frames assembly for our own usage
Sent off the Phase 1 elevator objective
Unlocked Tier 2 - Jump pads and tried them out
Looked through the tier 3 and 4 technologies
Demolished our early iron production for building parts, and remade them in a new factory including extra reinforced iron plates, using a manifold system and some alternative recipes we'd found
