04 Robdood's Satisfactory Overexplained Lets Play Beginner Guide Research Thing(TM)
An overexplained playthrough of the first few elevator phases while I research and conceptualise a guide I want to make!
In this episode, we:
Had a look at what I did between episodes, i.e. expanding the power station and balancing out the other production lines we skipped last time
Made a new assembler factory for rotors
Went exploring to find some quartz
Looked at the map and how we can create markers and stamps
Found some caterium ore
Found some SAM
Made progress in a whole bunch of MAM trees, including Quartz, Caterium, SAM, Mycelia and Sulphur
Unlocked tier 2 logistics mk2
Looked at how we can upgrade / enhance existing belts / lifts
Rebalanced reinforced plates so we can start making smart plating for the phase 1 elevator objective
Upgraded some other belts around the base to make sure they can meet machine demand
