Replacing an old Carrier central air conditioner with a new Midea on Guam, including rooftop condenser crane lifting, tight second-floor closet installation, and a custom duct adapter for the indoor unit.
In this video, the AELLCO team replaces an old Carrier central air conditioning system with a new Midea system on Guam.
Many of our customers on Guam are replacing older Carrier central air conditioners with new Midea systems for improved reliability, efficiency, and performance.
This project included the replacement of both the outdoor and indoor units. The outdoor condenser was installed on the roof, so a crane was required to safely remove the old unit and lift the new one into place.
The indoor air handler was located inside a second-floor utility closet, where the installation space was very limited. Because of the tight access and existing layout, we also had to fabricate a new adapter to properly connect the new indoor unit to the duct system.
This video shows a real central AC replacement in challenging conditions, including rooftop equipment handling, tight-space indoor installation, and custom duct adaptation for the new system.
