In 2001, they found a city underwater off the coast of India. 9,000 years old. The results were published. Then, silence.

It wasn't the only time. Yonaguni in Japan, the temples of Malta, Gunung Padang in Java. Four sites on four continents. All found. All announced. All filed away.

The problem isn't the evidence. It's that no one has looked where they should have been looking. At the end of the last Ice Age, sea levels were 120 meters lower. Everything built by coastal civilizations 12,000 years ago is now underwater. And underwater archaeology has a fraction of the budget of terrestrial archaeology.
