La Mesa Dam Tree planting 2019: UTROS Environmental Research and Development
Last October 5, 2019, UTROS in Philippines conducted a tree planting activity at La Mesa Dam and Reservoir. Our tree planting continues as we work towards our goal of restoring Metro Manila’s green spaces. Spending just a few hours to plant trees can make a big difference for wildlife, water quality, and communities.
Around 120 participants from different groups actively partake in this activity. Around 200+ native trees were planted and we are still aiming to plant native trees in different parts of Metro Manila and expanding in the entire Philippines with the help of the people who continuously support activities for to restore, propagate and protect the environment.
