Cloud Clock Time Tracking Uses | Replicon
Learn how to use Replicon’s CloudClock for time tracking.
In this video, Paula from Replicon demonstrates how to use Replicon’s CloudClock. Cloudclock is a tablet device that acts as a time clock. It is used to punch in and out for shifts and breaks. Cloudclock is linked to the organization's Replicon system for easy tracking of the hours worked and generating pay. Before creating a punch with CloudClock, there are three methods for logging in; using a QR card, entering a user ID, or facial recognition. The administrator will choose which of these methods can be allowed to use to log in.
After logging in, there are 10 seconds to punch or take some other action. If missed, will need to log in again. Punching in and out is essential before starting and/or ending shifts based on assigned schedules. With every punch, the clock will take a picture and add it to the punch audit trial so the supervisor knows it's the same employee who made the punch. Hence, it's important to make sure the face is visible in the circle when punching. While working on Project tasks and activities, one may need to use the cloud clock to record hours against those items.
To change tasks or activities that you’re working on, click transfer hours and it will be recorded under the new task selected. It is important to punch in and out as close to the scheduled start and end times as possible to ensure correct pay. To check if hours were recorded correctly, log into the CloudClock and tap the menu icon and then tap the timesheet. The current timesheet displays by default. To view other timesheets, tap the date arrow. Most users cannot modify punches, so if there is an error, the supervisor will be able to assist to make the necessary changes.
