In this video, we review the stages of renal insufficiency, as well as therapeutic alternatives for chronic renal insufficiency.
Then we move on to talk about the different methods of performing dialysis modalities, and the extent to which the types and sizes of toxins are related to the method of dialysis used.
The dialysis methods that we will explain in detail are the traditional hemodialysis or (HD), dialysis by removing excess fluids only (ISO-ultrafiltration), dialysis using both methods together or the so-called hemodiafiltration (HDF), as well as the (Online HDF).
