Do you want to deploy your Rails application to your own Amazon EC2 server?
In this AWS + Rails series tutorial I explain How to create an Amazon EC2 for a Rails application. The server we create will use the brand new Ubuntu 20.04 Focal Fossa. First, we create the server in the AWS interface, including your security groups. Then I’ll guide you through all the packages you need to install, like NGINX, Phusion Passenger. In this video we will get the server ready, but we won’t actually our Rails app until the next AWS + Rails tutorial video.
