Custom 3D Printed Drone (3.5" Cinewhoop) - Build Process & Flight Footage!
This is my twenty-fourth RC video! In this video, I show off some of the 3D printed drone that I designed and developed over the last few months, providing some background context to the project and some issues that we had to overcome from beginning to end. I go over specifications of the components in this build, go over wiring diagrams and how I connected the electronics together, hardware mounting, software setup in BetaFlight and BL_Heli configurators, last minute design and electronic changes, and finally conclude with an outdoor flight! The frame was printed out of Grey SUNLU PLA and the Ducts were printed with Yellow SUNLU PLA. Additionally, for anyone interested, the frame(s) and ducts were printed with a "MakerGear M3" printer from my school's lab and other smaller accessories/electronic component mounts were printed by my Ender 3 (v1).
