Quick Demo trying it with an overdriven amp. Hmm, still doesn't sound like it should live, but at least there isn't any more preamp clipping - the Shure SM57 isn't quite keeping up tho, I might have to hook up my mic preamp too - I'll work on figuring it out, but it's kinda of lo-fi sounding as is, not bad. Using just the Firebird Neck pickup from a Rick Kelly Bower Pine Tele direct into a '52 Tweed Princeton Amp here.
