Apogee Duet Test
Testing the Duet. Add &fmt=18 to the end of the web address to hear it in Hi-Def. Used a 1958 Martin 00-17 into a Shure SM57 to the Duet, as simple a chain as it gets - played simply too so testing wouldn't get messy. The real test is trying it with a cranked overdriven amp, I'll have to do it when it's not so late at night. I noticed that the sound is quieter when not compressed so hot, but just turn it up - there should be no "bacon sizzle" common with hot mastering, and there'll be better dynamics.
