What Happens If The Earth's Core Cools? #shorts

OK, so there is good News and Bad News.

Good News first:-
If the Earth's core cools from a nice and toasty 9,300°F or 5,150°C approximately, volcanoes will stop erupting, earthquakes will stop as the earths crust will stop continental drift.

The Bad News:-
No more outer core liquid so we would loose our magnetic field which protects us from harmful solar/cosmic radiation like a magnetic umbrella. In addition the core recycles carbon which is essential for life. Power stations which rely on radiant heat from bore holes and hot springs would also stop producing power.

On the upside, scientists believe it would take approximately 90 Billion years to cool, by this time the Sun it's self would have died out.

The Earths core cools but it also generates it's heat from decaying radioactive material, friction from the movement of denser material to the center of earth and the retained heat from when the Earth was formed.

The Earths core also increases in size by approximately 1 cm per Thousand years and is 1,802 miles deep.

The Earths core is always spinning like the Earth is spinning, it is possibly spinning faster than the rest of the planet.

The best scenario for all life on planet Earth is if the core remains as it is and cools very slowly. Earth would potentially loose it's seas to solar flares from the Sun if we lost the iron core magnetic field protection, which is one of the fundamental reasons life has evolved undisturbed.

Best if the core STAYS as it is!
