Summary:
The medical record is a highly relevant instrument for the realization of the right to health protection. It is a unique set of information and personal data about a patient, which may include written, graphic, imaging, electronic, magnetic, electromagnetic, optical, magneto-optical, and other technological documents. These documents record the various interventions of healthcare personnel at different times during the medical care process, as well as describe the patient's health status. They may also include, where appropriate, data regarding the patient's physical, mental, and social well-being.
