Beiderwand on the Drawloom
Beiderwand is a traditional textile with a long history - and I learned a lot about it when I was preparing my first Beiderwand project for weaving on the drawloom. In this video I discuss my understanding of the structure and how I set up my loom to weave it. Matters arising (such as Beiderwand's place in the family of lampas weaves; variations in setup; and design considerations) will be discussed in a future presentation, after my brain has stopped hurting.
