Unfortunately It is a common practice to obtain data from object and process it inside some service or manager class.

The Tell Don’t Ask principle will help you fix this.

Tell Don't Ask is all about bundling data with the functions that use it. Instead of asking objects for information and then acting on it, we tell objects what to do.

This encourages to move behavior into an object to go with the data.
