Launched my iSUP an hour before the peak of high tide and traveled south around the grassy island in the Charles E Wheeler Wildlife Area with a west wind. Scoped out an abandoned power plant. Housatonic River State Boat Launch is free access to the public with plenty of parking and restrooms located on the eastern bank of the Housatonic river directly under I95 next to 674 Naugatuck Ave, Milford, CT 06461. I utilized www.usharbors.com and www.marineweather.net to determine tide status and timing.
