Van Camping off-grid in the Mountains for a Month
Spent the entire month of August camping inside my Transit Connect in National forests and only free dispersed sites. Here’s a video dump of some of my favorite spots mostly in Colorado but also New Mexico. No hotels or motels at all and no paid showers. Learned a lot about this little van - it did really well on the Forest Roads and its footprint allowed us to squeeze into some spectacular spots. Our favorite spots were the silent dirt roads with conifers that provided shade yet clearing for our solar panels and access to crisp cool mountain creeks.
