I had this cover in my USB stick for years and for some reason I didn't publish it,
perhaps I was embarrassed that everyone had already made a dozen thousand covers of this song
and I didn't want to be unoriginal or something. I don't know.
I tried to make it sound as close to the original as possible, while also adding more powerful drums.
I was actually inspired to make this from playing @splendidland's Megaman Sprite Game - this theme plays for Pharaoh Man. :D

"Funny" (really nerdy) story about the DMF and VGM files:
If you open the DMF file in DefleMask you will notice that I left out a longer loop than what it displays in the video;
this is because vgm_cmp doesn't retain volume settings in loop points if it thinks they're redundant relative to whatever events were before the loop start in the song. So because all the channel volumes were maxed out before the loop started, vgm_cmp left no volume "markers" there, so if I would have looped the song from order 06 to order 01 as it was originally intended, it would sound fine in DefleMask but the VGM export would keep low volumes in channels where it should stay high. Try it yourself and you'll see (if you have the time to do that). :P
