Minecraft Flans Mod Aircraft Overhaul & Carrier Changes - Devblog #72
The latest iteration of the Tyrants and Plebeians flans mod server and mod pack has ended, and work on the next one has already begun.
In particular, I decided to rewrite the entire flan's mod plane flight model to be more physically accurate. In regards to server gameplay, the most important change is that runways and airfields will actually be necessary; with the old flight model, you could takeoff and land from anywhere.
With this change, aircraft carriers will become much more useful since you will not have to take the risk of building a new runway near enemy territory. I have also made a few minor changes to make carriers slightly easier to use and to become fully compatible with the new flight model.
