Statistics 13: Paired t-tests.
In this class we introduce the idea of correlation in relation to paired and independent samples. We discuss how samples can and cannot be paired appropriately and how the pairing can allow us to solve the problem using earlier methods (i.e. the one sample t-test) and help us reduce the standard error term to give us more power. We also discuss why we shouldn't use the same methods for independent samples.
