Intro to Lab Res Methods in Psych 20-21 04 Quasi Experiments
In this video, I review Quasi-experiments as a mixture of correlational studies and experiments in which we have one or more manipulated variables and one or more measured variables, or two or more manipulated variables in which case at least one of the manipulations doesn't involve random assignment. Correlational studies, experiments, and quasi-experiments are compared and contrasted along with between-, within-, and mixed-subjects designs to illustrate how different types of designs can be used in different studies.
