In this class we discuss the difference between correlational studies, experiments, and quasi experiments. We also discuss effects and interactions and continue our discussion of additive variance and properly break down and assign error terms.
I'd like to emphasize, that although I introduce quasi-experiments using a mixed design, they can also be accomplished using a between-subjects design. They cannot be used for fully within-subjects designs as there would be no strictly correlational component.
