I rolled it up like a dirty old carpet! 
I cleaned up this concrete pad today, removing decades of roots and ivy and dirt that had accumulated and built up a dense mat of vegetation. I used a shovel and a rake and scraped it all off like burnt eggs on an iron skillet. It all stuck together because of the interwoven roots, and I was able to roll it up like a carpet. It was a lot of work for my 54 year old body in the middle of one of the hottest summers we’ve seen in a while, but accomplishing this made me feel really good… And I slept well. #landscaping #yardwork #cleaningup #startingover
