"Neo PID Tuner" is used to tune parameters of PID Compact for TIA Portal that is only used for S7-1200/S7-1500 .In this video , the first order process model is explained and you will which parameters are crucial for gathering to apply to tuner app.Required data are gathered and fed to tuner app , the estimated process model matches the simulated one .Optimized PID and PI parameters are tested with embedded simulation package.
Test environment includes TIA Portal for logic development, WinCC Professional to archive data and internal SCL algorithm is used for process simulation. Based on gathered data , process estimated, optimum PI/PID parameters are calculated by "Neo PID Tuner" and PI/PID behavior are checked.
