Our journey of starting and running a coffee company: Episode 6
In this episode we find out that we got Roberta's Pizza as an account (one of our favorite restaurants of all time.) We also decide to launch the cbd cold brew because of the Roberta's news, which led to Levi Prewitt (Levitzo on IG) to post on his account to 155k people and it made us get so many new followers that we decided to do a sticker giveaway. The Stickers flew off the shelves, we sent around 60 letters in the mail in the first two days.
We are finally going to start publishing these once a week. We are going to be showing the day to day life or two guys trying to start and grow their coffee business (Superlost Coffee). We are based out of Bushwick and we are one year into this journey.
For anyone out of the loop.. We (David and Craig) started Superlost Coffee at the end of 2017 with the goal of bringing high quality coffee with emerging art. We started by borrowing time on competitor roasters and hand screen printing bags of coffee with local Bushwick artists. It's been a little over a year and there have been so many highs and lows and we've finally gotten to a point where we think we can make this work. We wanted to document our every week because we consider this a time capsule to when we were young and hungry but maybe it can also be useful for anyone out there who wants to start their own business. We are showing you 100% true raw footage of what starting a small business is like. We aren't influencers, we aren't well known, we have no money, but we have passion and determination. Let's see how far we can take this!
