How to break in a baseball glove in 30 minutes! Plus a crazy day at Petco Park
I never knew that this was possible! On my way to Petco Park, I visited an incredible baseball glove store called Charlie Rose San Diego. My friend Jaxon (who used to work there) met me and worked his magic on my new glove by using two different machines.
Meanwhile I was fired up for the game because the Padres are using commemorative baseballs this season for the 20th anniversary of Petco, and I REALLY wanted one (and ya know, living in New York City, it's not exactly easy for me to visit California so I felt all kinds of pressure to get it done on this short trip).
Was I able to get one? How many baseballs did I catch during batting practice? Did Manny Machado and Julio Rodriguez live up to their superstar status? How nice is Gallagher Square now that the Padres have installed a huge party deck? There were so many highlights and fun moments throughout the day at this jewel of a stadium.
