Restoring Our Outdoor Coffee Table (How To)
Long time no see! In this video, Steve and Aram with Refined Nature of Santa Fe show you how to restore a worn-out coffee table or any table for that matter with epoxy resin. The benefit of using epoxy resin to coat the top of your table is that it will last for a very long time and will preserve anything that is on the table and the quality of the table. This specific table is an outdoor table that we have been using for many years and it has finally worn out after about three years. So after walking past it and seeing it in its not so perfect state we decided to restore it! To do this we went ahead and sanded it starting at 40 grit and working our way up to 220 grit and then flooding it with Upstart Epoxy Table Top Resin. That’s easy to use one to one ratio allowed for a quick fix we made sure to evenly distribute the epoxy on the sides as well as the top and after it had cured in about 40 hours we took it back outside and sanded the underside drips. And voila! She was all back to normal and we have got her back in her same spot for the for seeable future.
