Mazdaspeed 3 - MAF Connector Harness Replacement
In this video, I install a new Mass Air Flow sensor connector replacement harness into the Mazdaspeed 3. I've been having an issue that started a few years ago, when I noticed my Long Term Fuel Trims deviating drastically from what they normally were. My first thought was an air leak, but after checking things over and doing more research, I discovered that this is actually a common issue, caused by a loose electrical connection between the electrical pins and wiring strands within the MAF connector. These incorrect voltage signals from the MAF sensor prevent the ECU from accurately fueling the engine via the fuel injectors. Thanks for tuning and enjoy!
