This tutorial shows how to make an animation of a jet plane performing an aerobatic display. The tutorial shows how to use Blender’s NLA (Non Linear Animation) editor to make the animation. It also shows how to use blend4web to preview the animation in a web browser.
The animation of a jet stunt flying consists of a sequence of moves/actions. The NLA editor allows you to ‘mix and match’ the moves. A basic move becomes an action strip in the NLA editor. Strips can be duplicated, played together (in parallel) and rearanged into sequences.
In blend4web, in the ‘Scene Properties’ window there is an NLA checkbox. When set, the animation in the NLA is automatically played in a browser, when the scene is loaded.
