Hey everyone! I'm trying rock painting again! I used river rocks that I purchased at the craft store (honestly, not recommended - you need stones that are SMOOTH but UNPOLISHED) along with a few basic materials like acrylic paint and metallic markers to make fun designs ( line art, faux calligraphy, tropical palm leaves and geometric patterns ) on rocks. Organic items and bringing the outside in is really popular in home decor right now so hopefully this inspires you and gives you more rock painting ideas! Or at the very least, is fun. Have a great day and please share this video if you enjoyed! P.S. Don't forget to seal your rocks! Be careful putting your rocks outside because you don't want to ruin your work. If you want to use them in the garden make sure you're using suitable materials and following all instructions.

USE ANY OR ALL OF THE FOLLOWING MATERIALS:
1. smooth, unpolished river rocks
2. acrylic paint (M. Stewart is my favorite brand, but anything works)
3. watercolors
4. Synthetic paintbrushes (great for watercolors and acrylics)
5. Oil-based paint pens (mine are from Sharpie but I hear POSCA is better)
6. Gel Pens (I like Sakura Gelly Roll Gel Pens in the MOONLIGHT style and the glittery ones are really pretty too)
7. Krylon Triple Thick Glaze (its in a can like spray paint)
8. Black & White Spray Paint (in shiny & flat finishes, respectively)
9. Acrylic Satin Varnish (tried this as a sealer too- NOT RECOMMENDED- it made everything bleed & run)
