This is a clip from video 53.

Could our life be seen as a game, like a computer game?

And if we were playing a game, how might we choose to play it?

What outlooks, attitudes and skills might our lead actor/character require to be effective in this game?

Does life have to be as serious, fearful and controlling as our anxious or OCD brains seem to try to make it?

How is it that actors, soldiers, police officers, deep-sea divers, doctors, nurses, and many others experience fear and anxiety while doing their jobs, but don’t let those scary thoughts or anxious feelings stop them from taking action?

Whereas, some people with anxiety or OCD can't function if their thoughts or feelings are overwhelming or scarily negative?

Surely, if we want a happy life we need to learn to play more, and be able to act in many different ways - and the art of learning how to act is to embrace ERP (Exposure and Response Prevention).
