Scanning and processing 360 videos to 3DGS models
In this video I'm using my custom build Magic Wand 3.0 scanner device which has three @insta360 X5 cameras. I have scanned few outdoor environments and one interior space and seeking what are the most usable settings to scan such places. Then I also show the principles how the 360 footage can be processed and extracted to separate images with my Blender addon. There is lot of steps before we have a working 3DGS model, but the end results are so promising that all this work might be worth it.
