Convert 360 Sphere images to Cube Maps for 3D modelling
360 degree needs to be dismantled! In this video, I explore how 360-degree images can be used in 3D modeling. How does 3D scanning with a 360 camera take place and what needs to be done to the images to make them valid for calculating a 3D point cloud? Using ChatGPT, I programmed myself a converter with which Equirectangular images can be converted into Cube map images.
