The GIZ ESP’s decade-long journey in Viet Nam started with just three staff.
Today we are now 20 times bigger, and the impact we have achieved with our partners has grown.
The GIZ ESP provides technical support to key institutions in the Vietnamese energy sector, especially MOIT and the national electricity utility EVN, focusing on policy advice, capacity building and technology cooperation.
Thanks to the firm commitment of the Vietnamese Government, with the support of the international community, including Germany, we see a future of rapid and sustainable energy transition, with GIZ ESP playing a role in the country’s significant efforts to mitigate climate change and achieve the target of net-zero by 2050.
