Interface for Data Exchange between MNOs and the UAS Ecosystem
GMSA and GUTMA just released a new document "Interface for Data Exchange between MNOs and the UAS Ecosystem", two years after the first version of the paper. The document, which is the product of the Aerial Connectivity Joint Activity (ACJA), aims at covering the use cases that emerged in these two years through which mobile network operators (MNOs) provide more than just “connectivity coverage.
In this video, Thomas Neubauer, co-founder of Dimetor and leader of the Work Task, which developed the paper how the paper provides practical solutions for the below questions:

✔️How to set up SLA, and how to monitor it?
✔️How to make flight path changes during the flight?
✔️Where are people on the ground at the time of the flight?
The use of drones in Beyond Visual Line of Sight (#BVLOS) operations requires reliable connectivity and population density data. The Interface for Data Exchange between MNOs and the UAS Ecosystem is designed to facilitate clear and efficient communication between essential stakeholders in UAS Traffic Management and is an extension of current interfaces.
