Implementation of PeopleSoft Configurable Fluid Query Viewer for Consumer Industry
PeopleSoft Query is one of the most common reporting tools used by PeopleSoft users to get desired information for one-time ad-hoc or repeated queries.
This CVA helped our client, a leading retailer of aftermarket automotive parts and accessories in the US, to overcome their application challenges.
Our client’s Store Technicians and Store Managers generate various PS Query reports on their mobile devices using an external application. This application started depreciating and the conventional PS Query Viewer had various limitations that required addressing.
To overcome this challenge, our team implemented a new PS Query report configurator. It enabled setting up any PS Query in such a way that some fields would be displayed in the primary page and the remaining in a secondary detail pop-up page.
Some benefits of this CVA are:
• Configurable Fluid Query Viewer has eliminated the requirement of technical development/knowledge to enable PS Query report viewing in Fluid UI mode.
• No migration required while setting up new PS Query for Fluid UI.
• Single PS Query, having different display options, can be configured.
This CVA helped save 500+ hrs/yr of manual efforts, which led to cost savings worth 55K $/yr.
