Escarpment Track - a hiker's point of view
The Pukerua Bay to Paekakariki Escarpment Track from a hiker's point of view - which is mainly looking at your feet. By starting late afternoon you arrive at the high point of the track at sunset - which is quite spectacular high above the west coast of the lower North Island. Then downhill to the Paekakariki Railway Station and the train home.
