Your Favorite is Rarely Most Popular - Here's Why
#EndFPTP Happy election day everyone! Today we're going to talk all about choices. Is the YouTube poll feature any good? If not, how do we fix it? Is there a reason why decisions made for us never feel ideal? Why does the general public seem to always differ from a substantiated opinion? We'll discuss that a bit here.
At the end of the day, this will be a bit of an opinion video. My favorite solutions aren't the most simple, but I believe they are the most effective. However, sometimes just the true challenge is telling people about the ideas.

This system is more of a utilitarian solution than a traditional majoritarian solution. As such, it is susceptible to Later No Harm / Favorite Betrayal criteria, which many systems seek to minimize. Ultimately, I find the losses to be worth the gains (limiting strategic voting, producing honesty). I do think our systems should ultimately maximize happiness when possible. Maybe I will provide more context as to why if enough people end of disagreeing.
