I did a 24 hours on-call duty in a psych ward as a junior doctor in the NHS.
Working as a mental health professional in the NHS can be quite hectic, so it was a busy and hectic duty. This video reflects a day in my life as a doctor/ mental health professional in the UK/ NHS. I did a 24 hours shift on a psych ward and it was a busy one. I got a lot of tasks to carry out, ranging from performing and interpreting ECG results, taking bloods for investigations, prescribing medications and many more.
