ECX Temper Gen 2 - Trx4M and UTB18 already had 1/18 scale competition
With recent big releases by both axial and Traxxas with the UTB 18 and TRX 4M respectively have caused a boom of interest in the 1/18 scale market. In its second iteration the ECX temper GEN two is a very respectable option for $160 Ready to run including battery and charger. Mine has seen a handful of upgrades including hobby wing 1080 ESC, 1.9 inch bead lock wheels and tires, fly sky GT five transmitter, 20 mm hex axle extensions, pen spring modification, steering servo. The temper GEN two is a serious Rockcrawler at heart and responds well to Upgrades.
