Part 2 of our sapphire color series! Today we are doing a deep dive on orange and yellow sapphires! We will cover the color range of light and saturated yellows and oranges. Based on the colors saturations we will show real life price examples to give you an idea of pricing. These colors of sapphires are also known to have Beryllium treatments and will do a deep dive on what this is and how it is detected.

Yellow sapphires are a great alternative to yellow diamonds. Yellow sapphire, also known as pukhraj stone for Jupiter. Yellow sapphire compared to citrine, yellow sapphire will have a much nicer brilliance and can be found in beautiful bright yellows VS citrine will often be darker an slightly brown or orange.
Orange sapphires are a great option for an engagement ring. You can find them in very pale almost peach colors to more saturated deep red-oranges. It can be a great alternative (in paler colors) to a padparadscha sapphire. Most orange sapphires are beryllium treated however in rare cases you can still find beautiful saturations for natural untreated and unheated oranges.
