Lowtemp Press Restored from Wildfire
As many of you know, The Marshall Fire in Colorado swept through a very populous area in the front range of Colorado a few weeks ago. We had a client that unfortunately lost his home in the fire, along with everything in it, including his Lowtemp V2...
We replaced the press in full for him, but he did find what was left of the original Lowtemp in the rubble. We decided to restore this press, while not stripping all the character from it. After some buffing, grinding, cleaning, rust treatment, she's alive! We kept as much original hardware as possible.
It came out pretty cool! A bit of melted metal in spots and a beautiful patina across most surfaces. Hearts go out to those who have lost everything material in these fires. #LowtempIndustries
