The biggest advantage of the LT3 is the ability to collect and store data for each press. Using the dimensions of each bag, we can now view platen psi instead of relying on the pressure gauge to show an arbitrary number that doesn’t account for how much material is being pressed. Our end-point detection allows you to view the pressure curve in real time. Once the pressure stabilizes and no longer drops, it indicates that r•sin is no longer flowing from the bad, and your press is complete.
