AI As Reference Material in Art Production: A Query
In this video I talk about a new painting I completed using an AI image as reference material, and among other topics, posit these following questions for viewers to answer in a poll on my Community Page.
Is art created by images rendered using AI significantly different than using any other reference material?
Is art created by using AI reference material still art?
I also talk about storing paint supplies, my history of art creation, and my experience with using AI generated images as reference material in making analog art.
Ultimately I hope to inspire some debate both in the comment section of this video as well as in the community.
