🔍 Part 44: Resizing Artboards
The artboard defines the boundaries of the file. Imagine it as a piece of paper that your pattern is printed on. We initially use a large artboard to accommodate all of our pattern alterations, but once the pattern is complete, resize the artboard to fit the pattern.

To resize an artboard click File then document setup, or Hit Alt CTRL P on your keyboard or.
Next, click edit artboard. You might have to zoom out to see your artboard. Hit the CTRL - keys on your keyboard.

Drag the corners and edges to freely resize the artboard to fit your pattern. Or drag it away from your pattern and click and drag to create a new artboard.

You should only have one artboard at any one time, so select the old one and hit backspace to delete it.

Click one of the sidebar tools to finish editing the artboard.
