Why I Use Global Index Funds | All Cap vs All World

A global index fund is really the only investment that we need to make.

If we assume that we can't beat the market and that it's impossible to know which country or sector will perform the best over the long term then a global index fund is our one-stop shop.

Personally, I invest monthly into the FTSE Global All Cap in both my S&S ISA and Lifetime ISA and have done for a number of years. VWRL is a similar global ETF (instead of an index fund), but is less diversified as it doesn't contain any small cap stocks.

Do you use global index funds?
