2024 Investment Portfolio Growth 📈
This is how much my investment portfolio has grown by so far in 2024 📈🤯
Some of the growth has come from my own contributions…
But the large majority of the growth has come from gains in the markets.
Caveat 1 - Of course the gains (or losses) can vary wildly from month to month and year to year.
So far the gains in both the stock and crypto markets this year have happened to be very good.
I understand the market could crash at any point and it’s all part of the process.
Whilst the gains are good to see, these are al long-term investments and I won’t be accessing this money for a very long time. So the gains (or losses) are largely irrelevant.
Caveat 2 - is that my portfolio is now a decent size.
After nearly 7 years of investing it recently crossed £100k in February 2024, which means swings in the market can have thousands of pounds of impact on my portfolio.
Which can be a good thing… or a very bad thing 😂
