[SMM2] Scarlet Stronghold
Eight hours deep, the gauntlet stood,
Scarlet Stronghold, carved in wood.
Yoshi’s trial, sharp and fast,
A fortress built to truly last.
Through spikes and flames my path was laid,
Each jump a debt of skill repaid.
The thrum of shells, the lava’s glow,
A dance with death in steady flow.
The Nai awaited, cruel and sly,
Twice it claimed me, twice I’d die.
The bitter sting of reaching far,
Then falling short beneath that star.
Yet still I rose, my will unbent,
Each death another testament.
For patience grows where courage leads,
And triumph blooms from countless deeds.
At last I stood, the banner near,
My hands still shaking, vision clear.
Eight hours gone, but worth the fight,
Scarlet Stronghold claimed tonight.
A tale of loss, of rage, of cheer—
Of dying twice, yet landing here.
So let it echo, loud and bold:
I cleared the Stronghold, red as gold.
